Synopsis : Woman plays a very important role in the ethnic cultural fabric of the Indian society. But, her transformation from growing up as a loving daughter that everyone dots on to a responsible, respected and loved daughter-in-law, she has to face many a hurdles that life's intricacy puts before her path. Her societal position or that of her parents are of no comfort to the hardship that she has to undergo to earn the respect of her in-laws and more so to keep up with the virtues of the family she willingly becomes a part of. Her burdens are only increased when her parental home and that of her in-laws are at close proximity, like in the same village or town. 'Gaamma Piyaryu Aane Gaamma Sasaryu' is a story of two such daughters who leave no stone unturned when they are faced with hurdles that they need to overcome.
'Gaamma Piyaryu Aane Gaamma Sasaryu' is one such story from Dharampur village in Gujarat, where Jeshm's happy joint family lives together in peace and total harmony, synonymous with village life in Gujarat. Jesham has two sons and a daughter, Vijay Shyam and Maya. Vijay and Shyam are married to girls of the same village, rather sisters Vanita and Radha respectively. Both the sisters being brought up in virtuous environment shoulder the responsibilities of the household with respect, dignity and to complete satisfaction of each and every member of the family. There loving and caring nature sees the family blooming like a flower even in troubled times.
But, as every shinning day sees the darkness of the night so does the Jeshm's family when the cunning and meticulous 'Kaka', uncle, makes his entry. The family is thrown in a whirlpool of treachery and schemes. Brother rises in revolt against brother and sister against sister. On one end Vijay and Shyam don't meet an eye for eye and sisters Vanita and Radha are at loggerheads.
What goes wrong? Who is responsible of throwing the family into disarray? Is it more than what meets the eye? Will the Reshm family reunite again? Who will help clear the confusion? When???
